GAIA (Geoscience Access, Inclusion and Attainment) is a project to improve equity, social justice and belonging in geoscience undergraduate degrees.
Originally funded by the Natural Environment Research Council, GAIA ran for seven months from December 2021 to June 2022.

*The GAIA project focuses on the following underrepresented groups: those from Black, Asian and minoritised ethnicity backgrounds; LGBTQIA+; people with disabilities; first in family to go to university; those from low-income households; in care or a care leaver; young people (<18 years) with a caring responsibility; non-traditional and international undergraduate students. We acknowledge that there are many other groups that are underrepresented in geosciences.
